INDEPENDENT COMMUNITY WATCHDOGSPRINGDALE, PENNSYLVANIA

EDITORIAL POLICY

Evidence before amplification.

What we publish

DayoubWatch covers Springdale public institutions, public safety, public spending, court and administrative records, and first-hand community experiences. Positive, critical, and mixed accounts are welcome when they serve a public-interest purpose.

How we label information

Public records, named accounts, anonymously published accounts, allegations, official responses, and editorial analysis must be distinguishable. A charge is not a conviction. A lawsuit allegation is not a judicial finding. A submission is not a verified fact.

Verification and reply

Editors should seek primary records, corroboration, precise dates, and relevant context. People or agencies facing material criticism should receive a fair opportunity to respond before publication whenever practical.

Privacy and harm

We minimize private personal information, protect confidential sources when promised, and do not publish sensitive data merely because it is obtainable. We do not accept unlawfully obtained material.
